SPEND

When you have earned some money, given God what is His (the tithe), and saved some for later, then you have money left over to spend! 

How we spend our money can honor God just as much as how we give and save. Is what you are spending money on reflecting what’s most important to you? 

2 Corinthians 9:8 (NLT) says, “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” When we follow God’s commands by giving to Him first, He will provide for our needs. 

God wants us to spend our money to buy things we enjoy. But He also wants us to be wise with it and help others. What we spend our money on shouldn't be the most important thing in our lives — following Jesus and living like Him should always be the most important thing.

Family Discussion Questions: What are some wise and unwise ways we can spend money? Does what you spend your money on reflect what is most important to you? How can you spend money on things that keep Jesus as the most important thing in your life?  

Pray: God, thank You for being so generous to us. Please help us know how to spend our money wisely. Help us to use what we have to not only bring us joy but also those around us. Amen.
