Defence in Community Part 2  

There is a serious danger in neglecting real, consistent, committed Christian community. We will see that neglecting this kind of community goes hand-in-hand with a heart that is starting to lose its fire for Christ. 

The truth is that God is THE creator of all things and we need to stay close to Him so that we can hold on to our confession to the end.

1. According to Hebrews 3:12-14, what do we prevent when we encourage one another? 
2. Are you encouraging your brothers and sisters to fight the good fight of faith? 
3. Are you being encouraged daily? Or do you just go through the motions at Church?

Prayer

‘Father, may we grasp the extent to which we need a godly community to be our defence. Teach us to see the need for encouragement in our own lives as well as the lives of others. May we learn to be a place of defence and may we run to the community as a defence.’
