(4) The promise made to Abraham was not nullified by the law ( Gal. 3:15-18 ). (5) The law was given to drive men to faith, not to save them ( Gal. 3:19-22 ). (6) Believers in Christ are adopted sons of God and are no longer bound by the law ( Gal. 3:23-4:7 ). (7) The Galatians must recognize their inconsistency and regain their original freedom in Christ ( Gal. 4:8-20 ).
