The Source of Ministry (God, Not Man)
Scripture: Galatians 1:15
True ministry does not originate from human approval or institutional appointment. Its source is God. He calls, appoints, and commissions according to His purpose, not human systems. While people may recognise or affirm ministry, they are not its origin.
This matters because it removes pressure and insecurity. When ministry is understood as God’s assignment, confidence is no longer rooted in human validation. It also protects the believer from manipulation and comparison.
When the source of ministry is misunderstood, people begin to chase recognition instead of obedience. They become dependent on platforms, titles, or acceptance, rather than on God’s direction. This leads to frustration and instability.

Daily Exercise
Write down:
“What am I depending on for validation in my sense of purpose?”
Then surrender it to God in prayer.
PRAYER
Father, help me to understand that my calling comes from You alone. Free me from the need for human validation. I pray for believers, leaders, students, and families across Nigeria, that they will anchor their identity in Your calling and not in human approval.
Lord, we ask that across nations, Your people will rise free from pressure and comparison. Let the Church worldwide rest in Your divine calling.
CONFESSION
My ministry is from God. I am called and sustained by His grace alone.
