May Devotional

DAY 20 OF 31

May 20 – Continuing in the Word

Continuing in the Word means remaining consistent in engagement with Scripture. It is not occasional or seasonal; it is sustained and ongoing. True discipleship is marked by consistency in the Word. This matters because growth requires continuity. Sporadic engagement produces limited results, while consistent exposure leads to depth and maturity.

When continuity is lacking, growth becomes unstable. People experience cycles of progress and decline. This leads to inconsistency and frustration.

DAILY EXERCISE
Set a fixed daily time for Scripture engagement. Commit to maintaining it consistently.

PRAYER
Father, help me to remain consistent in Your Word. Give me discipline and commitment. I pray for believers, students, families, and leaders across Nigeria that they will continue steadily in Scripture. Lord, we ask that across nations, Your people will remain rooted in Your Word. Strengthen the Church worldwide to be consistent and stable.

CONFESSION
I continue in the Word of God. I am consistent and grounded in truth.
