Thought for the Day: "You will testify. God will get the glory from your story as you share all that He has done for you."

When you attain a major goal that you were working tirelessly towards, that means you were able to claim the victory in-spite of the obstacles, thoughts of giving up, the roller coaster of self discovery, discipline required, and the hustle of numerous late nights and early mornings. Achieving a milestone never comes as an easy feat - if it were easy then it would not be significant, noteworthy, or require you to stretch beyond your capacity.

Milestones are key moments in our lives that we will never forget because of the hard work that we put into reaching the desired destination. However, it is much easier to overlook all of the hurdles that we had to overcome, intimate details of our struggle, and the helplessness that we once felt along our journey to attain our greatest aspirations. It is my prayer that we never forget the intimate details of our journey because they magnify the power behind our testimony.

The glory of success without a story is solely beneficial to the one who achieved it. The glory of success coupled with the story of the process has the power to inspire and impact the lives of hundreds, thousands, and millions of people whose stories can relate to yours. God has blessed you with the grace to have the victory over the enemy's ploy to steal and destroy your future so that your story can then spark a light of hope in someone else's darkness. When you share your testimony with others, it gives God all the glory and puts the enemy to shame.

Along with the purpose to inspire others, God has given you your special testimony so that you can forever be reminded during future tests that His grace is enough (2 Corinthians 12:9). You have made it thus far in life and you have a story to tell. What you’ve been through and conquered to make it to this very day matters immensely. Your testimony has the power to combat any fear that rises up against your destiny.

When you encounter obstacles in your future, because they are inevitable, I pray that you never forget your testimony. May you remember how you felt during the shift from contemplating giving up to the moment you threw up your hands in sweet victory. May the Holy Spirit always jog your memory with instances of God’s faithfulness. May your mind be renewed to look at your obstacles as set-ups for an even greater story.

Friend, hold on to your testimony and the power of Jesus in your life. Continue to share of God's goodness to any and everyone who has ears to hear. Your glory days are meaningful because of your process. Don’t despise the processing you’ve gone through and will go through. God has brought you a mighty long way. So, praise Him! You have a story to tell.♥️
