Overcoming Fear: A 5-Day Journey to Freedom, Faith, and the Father’s Embraceનમૂનો

Day 1
Thought for the Day: “God will prepare you for His plans.”
Have you ever experienced excitement about what God has planned for your future, but then simultaneously fear sets in because you don’t know when or how or what is to come? This fear comes from the innate fleshly desire for us to know and control everything. When we submit our lives to God's will, we must remember that His ways and thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9) - which means we will not know everything or even have the capacity to understand it all.
God will prepare you for His plans, but will not consult you on each move that He plans to make in your life because He knows that you will only assess the situation through your limited frame of reference and current ability. This is similar to going to an acorn and asking it "What do you think about transforming into a 100-foot Oak Tree?". The acorn would probably respond "Oak Tree?! That is impossible. Look how small I am?! That would take so much work and time. I think I'm fine just staying an acorn. Thank you for the consideration though!". The acorn is unaware of its growth potential living within and is probably now intimidated by the stretching, ripping, and building that would be required to transform into the oak tree - thus, it retreats back into its safe place of remaining an acorn.
God is fully aware of your potential and your ultimate purpose - He created you! When God speaks and moves within your life, He is speaking to who He has called you to be - not who you currently believe you are.
He will prepare and equip you on the journey to transforming into all that He has created you to be. Similar to the acorn, God will plant you in the location that He has called you to be in. Your surroundings will be dark for a little while, however, He will also water you with life's experiences and shine His powerful light upon you. You will then begin to grow strong and tall - beyond your greatest expectations because you were submitted to His love and care.
Let us extinguish the fear of our ability to fulfill all that God has called us to become by trusting and believing that He who has begun a good work in us will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). Allow God's faith in you to override your present fear of the unknown. You are able to accomplish ALL that God has called you to do in this lifetime. You are able to become ALL that God has predestined you to become - by His grace. That oak tree is living within you. Grow in faith, Friend.
