Day 16: God Will Work It Out for You

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” – Romans 8:28 NIV

God will work “this” out for me.

Devotion
Life often brings seasons of uncertainty and challenges that leave us wondering if we’ll make it through. Even in times of prayer and devotion, the weight can feel overwhelming, and doubt may creep in: Will God really work this out for me?

The truth is, whatever you are facing today is temporary. When we love God and align ourselves with His purpose, He promises that all things—even trials—will ultimately work together for our good. But what do we do when the “good” is not yet visible?

• Grow through it with God: How we respond in tough seasons is key to victory. God may be using this time to draw you closer to Him. Take time to pray, dive deeper into His Word, and lean on the Holy Spirit for direction.
• Speak His promises daily: Declare God’s Word until the “good” comes to pass. Align your faith with His promises and trust His timing.
• Give your situation an expiration date: Trust that the struggle won’t last forever. God has already prepared blessings on the other side.

When you hold on to God’s Word and follow His leading, you can rest assured—He will work it out for your good.

Prayer
Abba Father,

I trust that You will work everything out for my good. Guide my steps so that I can walk in victory with You. Keep me obedient, Lord, and help me not to place anything above You—not even my problems.

Today, I choose to focus on Your Word, knowing Your promises always lead to good. I lift this situation of [state request] into Your hands. Help me to grow through it and experience Your healing, love, and restoration on the other side. Thank You for always working things out for my good. It is in Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
