Day 11: God Will Heal Your Hurt

Affirmation
God will heal my hurt and bind up my wounds.

Devotion
If you live long enough, you know life comes with disappointments and hurts. No one is exempt. Yet it is comforting to know that we serve a God who not only heals our brokenness but lovingly puts us back together.

There’s a timeless truth beautifully expressed in Tramaine Hawkins’ song, “The Potter Wants to Put You Back Together Again.” The message is clear: you don’t have to remain in pieces. Your Creator desires to restore you and make you whole again.

If you feel broken, discouraged, or forgotten, turn back to the One who formed you for good works. Philippians 1:6 assures us that “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” And in Isaiah 49:16, God reminds us: “I have engraved you on the palms of My hands.” His love is steadfast, and His promise is to heal and restore.

Prayer
Abba Father,

I come before You in worship, for You are a great and almighty God. Only You can heal my hurts and mend my broken pieces. Restore my joy, health, relationships, purpose, ministry, and most importantly, my relationship with You.

Wherever I have strayed, guide me back through the power of the Holy Spirit. Close every door that leads to destruction or paths outside of Your will. Your Word says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death” (Proverbs 14:12). Lord, bring peace into my life and help me make choices that align with Your plan.

Today, I declare that I am restored and healed in You. Thank You for Your love, grace, and faithfulness. It is in Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
