Philippians - Life in Jesusનમૂનો

Context
Paul visited the city of Philippi with Timothy and Luke, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Read Acts 16 to understand how the church in Philippi came into being.
A few years later, while in prison, Paul wrote a letter of thanks to the Philippians for the help they sent through Epaphroditus. He also wrote them a series of exhortations, highlighting the role of Jesus Christ in the journey of faith.
- Acts 16
- Philippians 1
Meditate
Paul says, "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain." This means that the reason he lived was Christ, and he knew that at the end of his life he would meet and live eternally with his Savior.
What are the things you live for? What motivates your behavior and priorities? If you cannot make the same statement as Paul, can you identify the things that have taken the place of Jesus in your heart?
Pray
Pray that the name of Christian you bear is not just a title, but a way of life. Pray for the strength to live in a manner worthy of the Gospel, in unity, for the faith. Say the verses of Philippians 1:9-11 as a prayer over your life.
