Jesus Sees and Cares for You and Me
When Jesus walked the earth, a woman named Mary Magdalene lived in His town. Mary’s life was filled with fear, sadness, and trouble—she felt as if she were carrying a heavy backpack she could never take off.
But when Mary Magdalene met Jesus, everything in her world changed! Jesus saw Mary’s problems, but He also saw beyond them. He saw her for who she truly was—a kind, strong woman full of love. He healed her heart and mind, and suddenly her “backpack of troubles” was gone. Mary was free and filled with joy!

Mary then traveled with Jesus and His friends, learning about God’s love and sharing it with others. She witnessed Jesus do amazing things: heal the sick, feed crowds, and even calm storms. Mary believed Jesus was God’s only Son, sent to save the world.
When Jesus died on the cross, her heart felt heavy again, as though that old backpack of sadness had returned. But three days later, Mary Magdalene became the first person to proclaim that Jesus was risen from the dead!
Her story reminds us that Jesus brings hope, joy, and new beginnings—and He can use us to spread His good news! He sees what’s inside each of us—our hurts, our hopes, our faith, our love—and He cares enough to forgive us, to heal us, to defend us, and to help us.
That includes you! Jesus sees you and He cares about you and every single part of your life!
