Nehan (nsn) Papua New Guinea
The Nehan–Bougainville languages are a group of Oceanic languages spoken on the Green Islands (Nissan Island ), Buka Island. The population of the Nehan people is 6,500. Living in the region of Bougainville Province, Nissan Island. An alternate name for the language is Nihan and Nissan. Names are Nehan, Pinipel (Pinipin). And are not closely related to other languages. The language classification is Austronesian, Malayo-Polynesian, Central-Eastern, Eastern Malayo-Polynesian, Oceanic, Western Oceanic, Meso Melanesian, New Ireland, South New Ireland-Northwest Solomonic, Nehan-North Bougainville, Nehan. Language development is progressing with literacy rate of 50%–75%. They have a grammar. The Writing system is in the Latin script.
