Appeler Dieu «Notre Père» , c’est savoir que Dieu nous aime. Jésus, en tant que Fils, nous révèle quel est cet amour car Dieu est notre Père .  La prière du «Notre Père» n’est pas une formule à répéter de manière machinale mais un trésor de structure donnant une dynamique de prière et des conseils de pratique. C'est surtout un apprentissage de la prière.  Le «Notre Père» établit les priorités dans notre volonté et nos désirs. C'est l'occasion d'approfondir votre communion avec votre Père Céleste.
