Think about these questions as you reflect on today’s readings: * How is God’s care for creation connected to his care for us? * What is God’s attitude towards those who are tired and weak? # The Lord’s Understanding When we observe the tremendous creativity, design, and intention displayed in the natural world, we are reminded that God cares even more deeply for his beloved children. If God calls the stars by name (40:26) and provides food for birds (Matthew 6:25–26), then he certainly cares about our well-being, burdens, and struggles. This passage in Isaiah shows us that God is compassionate and empathetic. Our pain and weakness matter to him (40:29). When we feel overwhelmed and exhausted, we can rest in an everlasting God who understands and cares for us.
