They don't always seem to coincide the way we'd like. Something to think about while you are reading today’s passage: Lot didn’t really deserve to be rescued, but then again, Abraham didn’t ‘deserve’ to be chosen either. God’s mercy is huge and it rubs off on those who spend time with Him. Abraham’s conversations in these chapters of Genesis show us that at work. Something to talk about with players of The Aetherlight: The challenge for players in The Aetherlight is to see their part in this amazing story. If the Resistance is active in showing mercy, even to those who might not ‘deserve’ it, what does that mean for how they treat their friends and family, and even the people they don’t like? God’s kindness is evident to us, and this story provides a platform for talking about how we can follow His example.
