More Than Conquerors: 10 Days in Romans 8Näide

Future Glory
Pain can make the present feel endless. But Paul reminds us there’s something ahead so good, so beautiful, that it will make every hard thing worth it:
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us” (Romans 8:18 NIV).
Paul isn’t denying how much suffering hurts—he knew it firsthand. But he’s saying that when we finally see what God has waiting for us, we’ll look back and realize even our worst days can’t compare to the joy ahead.
Even creation itself is groaning, waiting for the day when God will set things right. And so are we. Every ache, every disappointment, every prayer that ends in tears—all of it points us forward to the day God will make all things new.
So when life feels heavy, don’t lose heart. Lift your eyes. Glory is coming.
Reflection:
- Where do you need the hope of Jesus to steady your soul today?
Try This Today:
- Write Romans 8:18 somewhere you will see it this week.
- When you feel discouraged, read it aloud and remind yourself that your earthly suffering is not where your story ends—glory is coming.

About this Plan

Romans 8 has been called the greatest chapter in the Bible. In these 10 days, you’ll walk verse by verse through its powerful truth: no condemnation in Christ, life in the Spirit, adoption as God’s children, hope in suffering, the Spirit’s help in weakness, God’s purpose in all things, and the unbreakable love of Christ. Each day you’ll read Scripture, reflect on its meaning, and take a step to live in the freedom Jesus secured for you.
