BUSINESS BIBLE

You may have heard not to seek reward. The Bible says you will be rewarded for your work. In business, we earn wages for work. Reward is more than what we earn and can be highly motivating. Reward is financial, pecuniary, and acknowledges that value has been created. Reward is recognition that demonstrates appreciation. Reward is more work! More opportunity.

The Bible says we will be rewarded for diligent and good work. Solomon, who built twenty cities, is quoted as saying, “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.” The reward for a job well done is more work, more opportunity, and more money. The reward is hearing well done, good and faithful steward, and experiencing joy.

Jesus said, "Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each as is his work.”

Lord, help me to do good and faithful work and receive your reward.
