You Will Make It Through 10 Day DevotionalNäide

DAY 1| THE PROPER RESPONSE TO TRIALS
Some mistakenly think or were wrongly taught that their new life in Christ would be one of continual pain-free happiness and bliss. Actually, the exact opposite is true. The believer's life is filled with all of the problems of living in a fallen world, plus the new spiritual challenges that come from following Jesus.
Jesus promised that in this world, we would experience tribulation. Trials are an inevitable part of life. As a believer, the proper response to trials, troubles, pain, and problems is an internal choice to continue moving forward in the Lord by faith. Jesus’ promise is not the absence of trouble but the presence of peace in the midst of it. This peace only comes from a deep trust in Jesus, who has overcome the world.
No matter how hard it is right now, anchor yourself in the confidence that Christ has already secured victory over every challenge you might face. By focusing on His overcoming power and the peace He provides, you can navigate any trial with hope and resilience.

GUIDED PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your words of comfort and assurance. I am grateful that You have prepared my heart for the trials I will face and have promised Your peace in the midst of them. Help me respond to challenges not with fear or despair but with the joy and confidence that come from knowing You have overcome the world. May my response to trials glorify You and serve as a testimony of Your power to those around me.
Amen.
