A Year in Luke/ActsNäide

Paul's sermon in the synagogue at Antioch of Pisidia would have felt very familiar to the people, as it was commonplace for them to recount their history to each other. But in verse 23 Paul begins to recount a much more recent history. He begins to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. How Jesus is the fulfillment of the promises and prophecies that the Jewish people held on to so dearly. Intertwining the threads of King David, the law of Moses, and the Old Testament prophets, Paul paints a stunning picture of the invitation to new life that Jesus Christ offers all who believe. His is an invitation to join in the story.
So let's join in together, each and everyday!
