A Year in Luke/ActsNäide

When Paul and Barnabas reach Antioch of Pisidia, they visit the Jewish synagogue for a Sabbath service. There they are asked, “If you have any word of encouragement for the people, come and give it." (v15) Paul stands to speak before the people, and begins to recount to them the history of the Jews. God's covenant with Israel, the exodus, claiming the promised land, the time of the judges, and Israel's cries for a king fulfilled in Saul and David. Paul calls for the people to look to their past and remember how God has been there for them over the centuries. He centers them in their story.
Today, journal and recount how God has protected and been with you throughout your life!
