God's Redemption Story (1 Kings - Ezra)Näide

Solomon - 3/5
When the Israelites left Egypt, they carried the Ark of the covenant as God lead them in a cloud around the desert. When Solomon built the temple, they set the Ark in the most holy place and the cloud of God’s presence filled the temple. The Israelites could see God’s physical presence, but the cloud was something they revered and feared at the same time. God was too holy for them to be near Him.
Jesus’s death on the cross changed our relationship with God’s presence. First, the curtain blocking the most holy place in the temple was torn in two by God. Now the Holy Spirit dwells within those who believe Jesus died for our sins and who have accepted His free gift of life. We don’t need to see His presence as a cloud because we can feel His presence in our hearts. Give praise to the perfect Lamb of God!
