God's Redemption Story (Exodus - Joshua)Näide

Have you ever helped someone, put in time and effort, only for them to take all the credit? We often do this very same thing to God. We make it through hardship or reach a moment of success and congratulate ourselves without acknowledging God’s work in our lives. Yet, if we stopped and looked at it, God likely deserves much more credit than we give Him.
The Israelites saw much of their successes, or perhaps, their avoidance of absolute disaster, because of God’s hand behind the scenes. They were not set apart people because of their own doing but because of God’s guidance in their lives. They did not conquer their enemies time and time again due to the great prowess of their army - it was the strength of the Lord. God’s faithfulness in their lives reminds us of how He is working and faithful in our lives, too.
