God's Redemption Story (Exodus - Joshua)Näide

When the children of Israel flat-out refused to obey God and take the land he had promised to Abraham, God punished them by making them wait forty years until that entire generation had passed away. But he didn’t abandon them. As they wandered in the desert, he continued to love, provide for, and protect them. Numbers 21 tells us of two enemies God helped the Israelites defeat. The people had complained about being unable to defeat the giants in the promised land, so God gave them battle training and a demonstration of his power.
Even when we disobey God, it is not in his nature to stop loving us or turn his back on us. He is with us every step of the way.
