Holy Week: A Journey From Jesus’ Death to ResurrectionNäide

Easter Sunday: Resurrection of Jesus
“He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as He said would happen” (Matthew 28:6).
Can you even imagine what the women must have felt and thought?! You know when something exhilarating happens: your face gets flush; your heart beats in your chest; your fingertips feel tingly.
Is that how they felt? He. Is. Risen. Jesus died, rose again, and is living, i-n-g, ongoing.
He is living, and we can have a relationship with Him because He surrendered His entire self. Praise be to God! “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” (John 12:13).
Prayer: You did it. You gave all of Yourself for me, Jesus. Thank You for your sacrifice. Praise You for overcoming death! Glory to God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!

Each day, we’ll look at what the gospels say about the events of Holy Week and walk through a simple prayer. We’ll follow the S.O.A.P. study method: Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer.
