At first glance, today’s verse may seem impossible to obey. Pray without ceasing? Rejoice always? Yet the passage makes it clear this is God's will for us.

The key is what we talked about this week: remembering that God is for us, speaking God's Word over our problems, and focusing on Jesus instead of our circumstances. Are you worried about a problem? Pray each time it enters your mind. Are you afraid of a future situation? Give thanks that God is near you. Are you facing a difficult challenge? Choose to rejoice in how God can use it to help you grow.

Psalm 103:1 says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name!” God is inviting you to bless Him, honor Him, and talk to Him about everything. This is His will for you—and the way He will bring you peace and deliver you from fear.

As you engage with God’s Word:

● What is God saying to me?

● What does it mean to me?

● How can I apply what God is teaching me?

● How can I be specific in prayer today?
