Overcoming FearNäide

Whose Strength Are You Relying On?
Many people rely solely on their own willpower. No matter what our problem, we often think we can grit our teeth and muscle our way to success.
But this verse says the key to life is basing it on God's strength instead of our own. Although we can make some progress in our own power, we only experience true freedom when He is the strength of our lives. When we follow His light and live in His salvation, there is literally nothing we need to fear.
In Psalm 118:6, the psalmist extends this idea; "The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" How would your attitude change toward your obstacles if you lived this way? How can you reject fear? By embracing God as your strength.
As you engage with God’s Word:
● What is God saying to me?
● What does it mean to me?
● How can I apply what God is teaching me?
● How can I be specific in prayer today?
After you reflect on these questions, bring everything to God in prayer.
