Power Read The Bible In 60 Days With Jeff AndersonMuestra

Day 27
INTERESTING MAN
[Scheduled Reading: Psalm 25-54]
David was an interesting man.
A song writer like Steven Curtis Chapman. A fierce warrior like William Wallace (Braveheart). A man after God’s heart, like Billy Graham... or Eugene Peterson.
It is believed that nearly half (73) of the 150 psalms were written by King David.
When you think of today’s budding music stars on The Voice, or American Idol, think of the talented young man David, chosen by King Saul to play the harp for him in his house. He likely built on his craft as a musician during those days.
But perhaps his real music launch occurred while tending his father’s sheep, out in the fields all alone with God. The psalms show how David poured his heart out to God. Which brings up a few questions.
How do you share your heart with God?
Do you journal your thoughts, prayers, praises to God? Do you take prayer walks?
As you think about David’s walk with God, think about what your walk with God looks like… from God’s perspective.
