Shining Faith

Lighting a single candle in a very dark space makes a difference. But if you light 20 or 30 candles, that difference becomes amazing. Likewise, when we join with others to share our faith story, the results can be profound. Dick Eastman reminds us to shine in every situation where God places us.

It is easy to become self-focused. We concern ourselves with our own personal cares. But part of love, real love, is concern for a person’s eternal destination. And if we want to see many people become part of God’s kingdom, there needs to be many people sharing their faith stories. God asks us to be an encouragement to other believers. To spur them on toward love and good works. Consider how you can be an encouragement to another believer today. How you can inspire them to shine their light wherever God has placed them.
