21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: Lectio DivinaMuestra

Preparation: Today, you’ll be reading from Luke 10:38:42. As you enter God’s presence, take some time to breathe and center yourself around Him.
Read: The first step is to read. As you read the passage the first time, pay attention to words or phrases that stick out to you and write them down.
Reflect: This time, reflect on the passage. As you read a second time, make a note of what emotions stir up. Which character in the story do you resonate with?
Respond: Now respond. As you reread the passage, pay attention to the voice of the Lord. What is He saying, and what do you need to say in response?
Rest: Finally, rest in God's presence. Before you move on with your day, take a few minutes to meditate on the passage and what God is saying to you.
Pray: Take a moment to pray on your own or use this prayer as a guide:
Father, help me to rest in your presence today, putting aside distractions and things that are not worth being concerned about. Jesus, show me where I need to sit at your feet and rest in what you are teaching. Holy Spirit, help me continue to meditate on what you have revealed to me today and lead with love in all I do and say, amen.
