Advent Music: Every Day a Bible Song Towards ChristmasMuestra

Trust In The Lord
I love the book of Isaiah. There are so many places in this book where I camp out and feel, or wait to feel, the presence of God.
Isaiah 26 is one of those places. It feels like home to me. Similar to Psalm 91, the central theme is here to "trust God always". That's not easy. You know, many of us want to take a leap of faith. But before we leap or even take a step, we wish we could see where we'll end up.
The thing is with trusting God, I've learned (and still learning!), you take a step before you see anything and you just expect Him to be there. One step at a time is how you build trust and how you get to know Him better and better. Trusting Him with a child-like innocence.
Are you in a dark place right now? Then this song is especially for you. Sing it till you believe it!
"For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead!"
Isaiah 26 - Trust In The Lord
1. Our city is strong!
We are surrounded by the walls of God’s salvation.
2. Open the gates to all who are righteous;
allow the faithful to enter.
3. You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
4. Trust in the Lord always,
for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.
19. Those who die in the Lord will live;
their bodies will rise again!
Those who sleep in the earth
will rise up and sing for joy!
For your life-giving light will fall like dew
on your people in the place of the dead!
