What Jesus Said About the Poor and Needy

DÍA 1 DE 5

## Suggestion 1\. Ask three friends to do this study with you. (Men and women are in separate groups of 4 each.) 2\. Everybody does the study on their own. 3\. When all 4 finished the study, meet and discuss what you have discovered. 4\. It is of utmost importance to move from information to obedience . Studying the Bible gives information and revelation. Obedience is the practical application. Discuss how to apply what you have discovered. 5\. This is study No.23 in the series. Consider doing all 25 studies in this series. 6\. Can you think of people who may benefit from these studies? Contact them. Encourage them to gather four people and do this series of Bible Studies. 7\. These Bible studies will help you grow as a disciple and a disciple-maker, giving you practical guidelines to lead others to the Lord and make them disciples and disciple-makers. ## What Jesus said about caring for the poor and needy and those who live in brokenness The Scripture passage to study: Matthew 25:34-46 1\. What do we learn about God from this passage? (How is God revealing Himself to us in this passage: His character, works, commands, and promises?) 2\. What do I learn about myself or people from this passage? (What is God expecting from me? What needs to change in my life? What are my responsibilities?). 3\. A meaningful question to ask is: Why is this passage in the Bible? Information to obedience: Because God is speaking here, we must respond. We transition from information to obedience: 1\. What do I sense the Holy Spirit is saying and asking me to do? 2\. How can I apply and integrate these truths in my life? 3\. How must I obey God? 4\. What and for whom can I pray from this passage? 5\. What must change in my life? 6\. Is there something I need to do in the coming week? 7\. How can I be a blessing to other people around me? 8\. With whom can I share what I discovered from this passage?
