Hollywood Prayer Network on Anger

DÍA 3 DE 7

## BE ANGRY BUT DON'T SIN "Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured." Mark Twain > PRAY: Lord, don't let the sun go down on my anger tonight. Help me to be honest about what angered me today, and then leave that issue, that person, that situation at Your feet. Please let me sleep peacefully, knowing that I am laying down with a clean heart, a pure mind, and a peaceful soul. I pray this in Jesus' Name, Amen. > REFLECT: Anger is an indication of many things - but all of them are warnings from God that something is not right. It could be a righteous anger in response to an injustice, or you could be reacting to something that triggered your own weakness or insecurity, or you may be misunderstanding someone or something. Each time you detect anger in your heart, your words, or your actions, stop and ask God to reveal the true reason behind that anger. Only then can you do something about it. > ACT: In God's world, light represents something beautiful, and darkness represents something scary, wrong, or evil. So how wise it is of God to tell us not to let the sun go down on our anger, for our anger will only turn dark and get worse. Right now, check your heart and tell God anything that angers you, and as you memorize Romans 12:14-18, ask Him to get rid of your anger and help you fix your mind on this scripture in order to become pure and holy.
