Have you ever seen a team compete in an obstacle course? The goal is to have every person reach the finish line by getting through each obstacle in the shortest amount of time. To do that, the team has to work together. They help push each other so that everyone can reach the goal. As followers of Jesus, we should work in the same way. We’re all on one team working toward one goal: serving and loving others as Jesus did. That means we put the needs and interests of others before our own. It’s not always easy, but when we work together and encourage each other to keep going, we can do something big for ourselves, others, and the world around us.
