What does a kingdom of peace look like?

Early Christians were getting hung up on things like food and traditions. Paul wrote to remind them of what God really wanted for his people: goodness, peace, and joy.

At the end of C. S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, the four children have grown into wise, caring rulers of a wonderful world named Narnia, ruling from the capital city Cair Paraval. It’s like a tiny glimpse into what a kingdom at peace looks like—a place where good people rule from joyful hearts.

God’s Kingdom has come and is coming. The children got to experience a peek of the good land Narnia. We get peeks at God’s Kingdom, a life of goodness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. I’ll take even those small views of it.
