Petition Heaven: Fasting + Reformation

Fasting and reformation may not be your typical ways of connecting with God, but there are so many ways to connect with Him!

Fast for breakthrough in areas that need reformation. As you fast, pray for God’s righteousness and justice over human trafficking, racial reconciliation, government, abortion, the hungry, the lost, etc. Don’t grow weary in your prayers! Keep knocking, seeking, and asking. These aren’t babbling prayers for man to hear. Petition Heaven for GOD to hear. Your fasting and praying isn’t for man—it’s to capture the attention of Heaven. Fasting without prayer is just a diet. As you grow closer to God in this fast, doors are opening that no man can open. Believe and stretch your faith for the supernatural. Now is the time to petition Heaven. Don’t give in to the warfare against your miracle.

Prayer: Lord I believe that You can do anything. You are the God of the universe, yet You hear my prayers. I partner with You, Jesus, in intercession. Teach me how to pray. Call to my memory the things You told me to believe for that I have since forgotten. I have faith that You can still do those things. I believe You can do the impossible. Show me what it looks like to petition Heaven. Thank you, Jesus, for being our intercessor and teaching us how to intercede. I come to you with prayer and fasting and pleas for mercy. Amen.
