Be it stage, screen, television, or video, each of us must beware the incipient darkness that seeks to dim our light and dull our focus. I have to keep free from the soul-wasting effect of the godless giddiness I encounter while seeking to enjoy simple comedy. I must avoid the abounding sexual innuendo present in virtually all dramas today. I need to keep myself from the profuse profanity, blatant blasphemy, and sensitivity-numbing violence that are included in the price tag of a brief excursion into an adventure flick.
Simply put, to function with spiritual authority requires that I live in purity.
