Putting up an artificial, or freshly cut Christmas tree. Stringing the lights, finding just the right branch for every sparkling ornament to hang. Climbing to the top of the tree to place the star. It is truly an exciting time to spend with family and friends. The question is are you participating in innocent family fun, or a pagan tradition? Have you ever wondered where this tradition came from? Why do we put up a tree every year? As a Christian, should we take part in the decorating of a Christmas tree? Reflection Make sure you put more time, effort, and energy into loving others and sharing Christ this Christmas, than you do decorating a tree. Let YOUR light shine brighter than your Christmas tree.
