This passage is so interesting because it has a condition. We love to think about how God is faithful and just and will forgive us when we sin, but we forget that first, we must confess those sins. Learning to own up to what we’ve done is an important part of growing up and providing the opportunity for our kids to admit they’ve made mistakes is a crucial part of parenting.
