Jesus Christ was God’s plan from the beginning to redeem the world from sin. John MacArthur said, “Calvary was not a divine afterthought but a predetermined plan.” The Fall did not surprise God. Redemption was in motion before Creation itself. The promised Seed Who would crush the serpent’s head was already God, and on the cross, the shedding of Christ's blood would ultimately defeat Satan and death for all eternity.
