Why Should I Be Baptized?
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision. It is the important first step of obedience to God that declares to others your faith in Christ.
Just as Scripture says, baptism is a commandment from God. Knowing it is the right thing to do and choosing not to do so is sin. This would be like a married person refusing to wear their wedding ring. Publicly declare your salvation by being baptized and telling others that your identity is with Christ!
If you are hesitant about baptism, ask yourself why you feel that way. Jesus wants your obedience, and you have no need to be ashamed of Him!
