Remembering Who God Is This Christmas Season

DAY 7 OF 12

God is the King of Glory

1. Spend a few moments praising God for being the King of Glory.

Definition: One who is powerful; one who deserves great honor and praise

2. Next, spend a few moments silently confessing your sins to our loving God who forgives.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (NASB)

3. Now, let's spend some time thanking our heavenly Father for the being the King of Glory.

In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NASB)

4. Then, let us pray: LORD, may I tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might, so that all people may know of Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom. From Psalm 145:11-12

Lastly, put your child’s name (or someone who needs prayer) in the scripture prayer: LORD, may ________ tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might, so that all people may know of Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom. From Psalm 145:11-12

About this Plan

Remembering Who God Is This Christmas Season

Moms in Prayer uses the Four Steps of Prayer method to engage our hearts in relationship with our loving Father. Each day's plan calls us to focus on a unique attribute of God to help us keep Him at the center of this Christmas season. This plan uses the steps of Praise, Confession (Repentance), Thanksgiving, Intercession (asking for help with whatever we or our loved ones are facing). Each prayer is accompanied by Bible passages that give us a deeper understanding of God's attributes.
