A Very Very Maverick Christmas: Advent Is an Invitation to WorshipSample

Day 29: Go Tell It on the Mountain (Instrumental Version)
The shepherds were ordinary men, yet they became the first to carry the extraordinary message of Jesus’ birth.
Scripture reminds us, “How can they hear without someone preaching to them? … How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:14–15). Jesus later commissioned us with the same call: “Go and make disciples of all nations”(Matthew 28:19).
Sharing the gospel isn’t about perfection; it’s about obedience and joy overflowing from what we’ve seen and heard.
Even among family and friends this holiday season, you are an ambassador for the Gospel of Good News! The greatest gift you could give someone this Christmas might be the truth of Jesus.
Reflection: Who might encounter Jesus because you choose to share His story?

About this Plan

We’re inviting you to slow down and step into the wonder of worship through the story of Jesus showing up for us. Each devotional walks hand in hand with a song from "A Very Very Maverick Christmas," drawing from Scripture and song to stir up gratitude, hope, and awe. As you move through themes of humility, joy, and adoration, our prayer is that you’d encounter Emmanuel - God with us - and remember that His love still changes everything.
