A Very Very Maverick Christmas: Advent Is an Invitation to WorshipSample

Day 22: O Come O Come Emmanuel
Advent is the ache of waiting and the hope of fulfillment. O Come O Come Emmanuel captures both - the longing and the promise. Even before Jesus came, humanity was crying out for rescue, and God answered with Himself.
He still does.
Every time we pray, “Come, Lord Jesus,” He draws near to comfort, to heal, to redeem.
Reflection: What are you waiting on God for right now? How can you invite Him to be Emmanuel in the middle of that waiting?

About this Plan

We’re inviting you to slow down and step into the wonder of worship through the story of Jesus showing up for us. Each devotional walks hand in hand with a song from "A Very Very Maverick Christmas," drawing from Scripture and song to stir up gratitude, hope, and awe. As you move through themes of humility, joy, and adoration, our prayer is that you’d encounter Emmanuel - God with us - and remember that His love still changes everything.
