A Very Very Maverick Christmas: Advent Is an Invitation to WorshipSample

Day 12: O Come Let Us Adore Him
Adoration is the purest kind of worship. It doesn’t ask for anything, it simply gazes on the goodness of God. “O come let us adore Him” is a call to draw close and behold the beauty of Jesus, the Word made flesh.
Advent pulls us out of distraction and back into wonder.
It reminds us that Christmas begins not with giving, but with adoring.
Reflection: Take a few quiet minutes to adore Jesus without asking for anything. What rises in your heart when you simply sit in awe?

About this Plan

We’re inviting you to slow down and step into the wonder of worship through the story of Jesus showing up for us. Each devotional walks hand in hand with a song from "A Very Very Maverick Christmas," drawing from Scripture and song to stir up gratitude, hope, and awe. As you move through themes of humility, joy, and adoration, our prayer is that you’d encounter Emmanuel - God with us - and remember that His love still changes everything.
