Are We Eager To See Jesus?

Faith does not wait; it moves. The shepherds did not hesitate; they ran. That small, impulsive decision to leave everything and go became the moment that changed their lives.

They heard the message, believed it, and acted on it. Romans 10:17 says, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” The angels spoke God’s Word, and faith was awakened in their hearts. It's worth wondering how many others heard the same news but dismissed it because it didn’t happen the way they expected it to?

But God knew who would respond. The shepherds understood the language of a manger; it was their world, their domain. God met them where they were. They ran because they understood the worth of what was born there. They knew the value of a Lamb. As shepherds, that was the greatest gift.

Each revelation stirred greater awe, deeper gratitude, and an urgency to tell others. That is what salvation does; once you realise what you have been given, you cannot keep it to yourself. What began as a simple act of faith became a lifelong testimony.

Our journey of faith is the same. It begins quietly, grows through revelation, and blossoms into a life of sharing. The more we know Him, the more we understand that this gift is not meant to be kept; it is meant to be shared.
