Many scriptures speak to what God brings with Him. He doesn’t just show up to keep us company; He comes with strength, power, and authority to make an impact in the situation at hand. Remember that when Jesus comes to you, He’s bringing life and strength with Him. As you can see in the verse above, Jesus did not simply enter the earth with well wishes or good vibes, but with salvation and victory for you. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 NIV). Jesus came with gifts—the gift of salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit! Jesus wants to equip and empower you to live for Him, so He gave you His Spirit. Do you need strength? Ask God. Do you need wisdom? Ask God. Do you need peace? Then spend time in His presence!

Like Mary did so many years ago, let’s make room for Jesus in our lives by making daily space and time for His Word.
