The Promise of LightSample

Day 16 — Good News of Great Joy
Scripture: Luke 2:8–11 — “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”
Devotional Thought: The first people to hear of Jesus’ birth were shepherds, ordinary, overlooked, and out in the fields. Yet God chose them to receive the world’s greatest announcement. The arrival of Jesus changes everything: fear turns to joy, and night gives way to dawn. The message still rings true; the Light has come for all people.
Prayer Prompt: Jesus, thank You for bringing joy to a weary world. Help me receive Your good news with fresh wonder and share it freely with others.
Daily Challenge: Share something joyful today, a kind word, a smile, or an encouragement that lifts someone’s spirit.
