ZerubbabelSample

Opposition will come, but God is greater
As Zerubbabel and the returned exiles set their hearts to rebuild the temple, they quickly encountered fierce resistance. Their enemies didn’t attack with swords – they used discouragement, false counsel and lies. They stirred up fear, questioned motives, and tried to delay progress at every turn.
Sound familiar?
Whenever God calls you to build or rebuild – whether it’s a ministry, a relationship, a dream, or even your inner life – expect opposition. The enemy rarely sits back when restoration is underway. He whispers lies like, ‘You’ll never finish’, ‘You’re not good enough’, ‘It’s too late’. He wants to make you doubt, procrastinate or give up entirely.
But here’s the hope-filled truth: lies don’t stop God’s plans. The work may pause, but God’s purposes never perish. He sees the bigger picture when we can’t. He strengthens hearts that are weary, equips hands that are tired, and fills us with courage to persevere. His timing is perfect, and His power is greater than any obstacle.
So, take heart today. When discouragement comes, remember: God is on the throne. The enemy may try to delay, but he cannot derail the destiny God has for you. Keep building, keep believing, and watch God's faithfulness shine through every challenge.
