God Heals Our PastSample

Day 2: God Heals the Brokenhearted
Scriptures:
Psalm 147:3 (NIV)– “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Isaiah 61:1 (NIV) - "The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners..."
Devotional Thought:
Not all wounds are visible, but God sees them. He is the Great Physician who heals hearts, minds, and souls—not just bodies. His touch is gentle yet powerful, reaching the deepest places of pain. You don’t need to hide anything from Him—He already knows and cares. Healing may not happen instantly, but step by step, God restores what life has broken and turns sorrow into hope.

Reflection:
Where do you need God’s healing touch today—your heart, your memories, or your relationships?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for seeing my pain and caring for my wounds. Heal the hidden places in me, restore my heart, and fill me with Your love and peace today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
