God's PlansSample

17. Make Your Paths Straight
Why: God’s plans straighten our path
Lectio. “…in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:6, NIV – read Prov. 3:5–12).
Meditatio. In the first part of Proverbs, a father teaches his son that wisdom is built on three pairs: trust and submit (vv. 5–6), fear and honor (vv. 7–10), accept and learn (vv. 11–12).
Oratio. Pray for trust instead of anxiety. Submit every decision to the Lord. The best path—the perfect plan—does not come from our control but from our surrender.
Contemplatio. Picture yourself on a road full of curves and obstacles. Then realize: when you trust the guide, the path becomes passable and safe. That is what happens when you submit your plans to the Lord.
Confessio. I have lived this in ministry. When trying to lead people back to the foundation of Scripture, everything seemed to go wrong—discouragement, rejection, abandonment. But by trusting the Lord, fruit finally appeared.
